As we forge into another week with the Covid-19 virus living amoungst us, we are all looking for ways of settling into our new routines and daily habits.
A focus for many of us right now, is when and how we buy our food shopping. While many of us try to avoid large supermarkets as much as possible at this time, the producers in Boyne Valley Flavour’s have collaborated to develop a new initiative to get the finest of Irish produce delivered right to their customer’s doors.
This comes in the form of a range of Boyne Valley Flavour’s Boxes that can be ordered online and delivered to homes and this this initiative also gives an opportunity for the businesses in Boyne valley businesses to try to survive in these difficult times.
The initiative has been spearheaded by Ruairi Browne who along with Laura Menamy, is the proprietor of Great Northern Larder which make a delicious range of high-quality sauces and rubs. Ruairi and Laura have dedicated their website, their time and packing facilities to helping local food producers across the Boyne Valley come together with those in isolation or those cocooning in their homes.

Boyne Valley Producers – Weekly Vegetable Box
From €29.50 and available Nationwide. Each week, the company will curate the best seasonal locally grown produce and try to offer as much value as we can to the customer. Each box will include a mixture of green leafy veg and salad leaves and root veg including potatoes. Also includes 250g of closed cup mushrooms. Store Cupboard Essentials Box
From €40 and available Nationwide. A “store cupboard essentials” box which contains long life products that you typically keep in your cupboard. This box is filled with a specially curated mix of Irish artisan products that will be a winner in every kitchen and with all ages.

Weekly Meat, Dairy, & Fish Box

This has enough meat and fish for one week for a family of four including lunches and dinners. All products are vac packed and fresh so they can be frozen at home if you wish.
