Where we come from
We are a team of media and advertising people who have been in this great industry for 20 years. Working with brands across traditional and digital media, we came to the conclusion that both landscapes work better by working together, so we established Wasted Media Group to do just that. With the solid relationships we have built over the years in the industry, our media agency offers support and help to brands, companies and individuals, looking to engage with a growing eco-conscious audience.
As we looked for media outlets to help us promote these brands, there appeared to be no platform available where this audience could find information and advice on how they could easily live a more sustainable lifestyle. Wasted.ie now has a strong, growing audience who have an appetite for changing their attitude towards waste and sustainability. Our mission is to provide news, information, advice and stories about the positive shift happening towards more sustainable brands and products.
Wasted.ie, the Platform
A lifestyle led, digital magazine platform, Wasted.ie provides a unique and dedicated space for people to get practical advice about embracing a more sustainable lifestyle.
Our Focus: We talk about Food, Fashion, Home, Beauty, Holidays, Motoring, Wellness, promoting planet-friendly products, initiatives and events to our growing audience. We want our audience to be informed of any new and established brands and companies in the market and to encourage them to engage with products that they may not normally consider, or be aware of.
The Wasted Media Team – A little bit about us
Wasted Media was established to bring a voice to brands, products and communities that have ‘green-ness’ and sustainability at their core. We are a team of media professionals, journalists, influencers and digital marketing nerds, with many years under our belts in Advertising, Journalism, Broadcasting, PR, and even Finance. We should be jaded with today’s media landscape, but we love it.
Having spent so many of our years working with large organisations, calculating billable hours, watching the clock and putting the company bottom line ahead of client needs, we decided that we wanted more. To do more. To be more.
We are a team that believes in giving the right brands a voice that they deserve. Because now, more than ever, they need to be heard.
Mary O’Sullivan (CEO)

She has been an integral part of the start-up phases of new broadcast media and outdoor advertising platforms in Dublin. She believes that Consumers are actively looking to engage with brands that are taking the sustainability of our planet seriously.
As CEO and co-founder of the Wasted Media Group, she insists that these brands need a voice and has established this multi-media agency to do just that. Mary is also the co-founder and CEO of Wasted.ie.

Want to work with us
Our hope is to promote all those working towards a sustainable future. They are the large organisations with progressive recycling initiatives and the brands engaging in organic practices. But it’s also the smaller retailers, the ‘grass-roots’ brands that are doing their bit and need some support from us to promote their great products.
In order to continue to support our audience, we in turn, look for support from national and international brands that are on the same page as us and see the value in supporting our pursuit of sustainability across the board.
We are always looking for partners, brands, advertisers and companies to work with, so if you feel that we are a company that matches your brand mission, please feel free to get in touch with us for a chat and we can go from there.
